Students don't always know what proper netiquette means.
It is important to establish and teach rules and consequences of using cyberspace just as you would teach classroom expectations.
Create a "Netiquette" list and post it where students will see it as they work.
Boston Public library provides eight tips about netiquette for kids on one page. Information is simple to read and age-appropriate for students grade four and higher.
